Dr. Theodorou started his training as Research Fellow for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago . Dr. Theodorou studied at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark , New Jersey , and the Monmouth Medical Center/Hanhemann University in Long Branch, New Jersey.
Dr. Theodorou returned to Chicago to continue his training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center at Rush University.
Dr. Theodorou finished his training in New York, at NYU's prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital on a aesthetic plastic surgery fellowship.
Dr. Theodorou continues to train other surgeons in SmartLipo and other cutting edge advancements in plastic surgery.

Dr. Christopher T. Chia is a fellowship-trained aesthetic plastic surgeon. He is currently the surgical director of Park Avenue SmartLipo, the only SmartLipo training facility in NYC. He offers the minimally invasive Smartlipo procedure at Park Avenue’s AAASF (American Association Ambulatory Surgical Facilities) accredited center in Manhattan.
Dr. Christopher T. Chia gives patients the bodies they have always dreamed about with fast recovery, minimal scaring, and the latest in technology. He holds dual certifications by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He specializes in procedures for body contouring, breast surgery and facial rejuvenation. In addition to subspecialty training in cosmetic surgery, Dr. Chia is also active in teaching, participates in conferences and publishes articles pertaining to current issues in plastic surgery.
